Achieving the Perfect Shade of Green Fabric Dye
Green dyes allow custom coloring fabric in any hue from bright lime to deep forest green. Follow these dye blending tips:
Start with a base of yellow dye, which provides the green undertone. Brilliant yellow works well for vivid greens.
Add small amounts of blue dye - navy or midnight blue recommended. The more blue added, the darker the green becomes.
Use more yellow in proportion to the blue for lighter, greener shades. Reduce yellow for deeper emeralds.
Target the exact shade desired by incrementally adjusting the yellow-to-blue ratio. Mixing complementary dye colors gives full green tonality control.
For muted natural greens, include a touch of brown dye in the blend. Or use greener shades of yellow rather than brilliant yellow.
With the right mix of dye colors and experimentation with proportions, you can produce any green fabric color imaginable.

When I tried to purchase green sequin fabric elsewhere, it was almost a light green or teal color. This one was JUST the color it appeared in the photo! I'm very happy I found this because I buy a lot of sequins for crafting!
